Unfortunately, under the current design guidelines, it's not allowed, even if it's in your own backyard. If you want a wall mounted trellis, you're out of luck. We petitioned the Board to change the guidelines, so what you see on the picture becomes possible. We need your help to get this proposal on the HOA Board meeting agenda and passed. Please fill out your details and join the petition below. This initiative is led by Steve, a Skye Hills homeowner (Tribute), together with a growing group of neighbors. Our goal is to work constructively with the Board by presenting actionable, homeowner-supported ideas. That's why we've put together a proposal that addresses relevant concerns. It is ready for review. Refinements are welcome. Our aim is to show that many residents value a bit more flexibility in designing their own backyard spaces.
